Twenty Minute Side Table

Could this be any cuter.  I saw this DIY table on the Making Home Base blog and knew I had to run, not walk, to Target for a hamper.  I did not find the exact base but one similar.
This is such an easy project.
I'll let the post above give the directions, after all Chelsea gets all the credit!!

Here is the wood round I bought it's 18 inches across.  Purchased at Lowe's.  I used Minwax Provincial stain.  I used a foam brush to apply the stain and quickly wiped it off section by section.  It makes for a lighter finish and dries super quickly.

Here is the Circo hamper from the kids department $19.99 at Target

Here is the stained top on the base

Here is the table in the room all finished.

I'm taking this fun class and wanted to share!

One part planner plus one part art journal and one part weekly challenge equals an amazing year of organization, inspiration and community. Join us for the Documented Life Project.

We are starting with a Moleskine Weekly Planner.
•If you want to buy the "as it comes" Moleskine Planner online, get one (the one we used) HERE!
•If you want to take a mini-class on how to alter your Moleskine planner including gorgeous downloads, check out the class details HERE!
•If you have your own calendar or planner you want to use, that's great too.

Now the journey begins!

Starting January 1, 2014, a weekly challenge will be posted  on ways to use and decorate your planner to make it uniquely yours.  Interpret the challenge in any way you desire or be inspired by the artists who have created the year long project.  It's free and open to everyone - artists, scrapbookers, calendar keepers, organization lovers, art journalers- yes, YOU!

  • 1080p Full HD movie recording capabilities
  •  Photos and videos to a new dimension with support for true 3D
