My girlfriend Katharine and I make embroidered key chains and we helped three walkers who were participating in the Atlanta, GA 3-day walk, just this weekend. $5 of each key chain they sold wet back to them for their walking fee. Here is a link to that post (two down on my blog) and photographs of some of the keys we completed. The photograph above is of our daughters!

Williams Sonoma - Bakerella & ME!!

Pin It WOW!! I have been following Bakerella (aka Angie Dudley) for a very long time and every now and then baking some cake pops of my own. It's not just baking for Bakerella, it's art. Food Art!! Her imagination is amazing. She said on Saturday, "I don't look at candy as candy, I look at it as ears, noses and parts." It's so true! It was so exciting to meet her and have her sign my Cake Pops Book. Here is a link to her tour schedule maybe you can meet her too.

Look at her cute shoes!!!

Fall Shabby Burlap Wreath's

Pin It I came across a fantastic blog called Tatertots and Jello and this great tutorial to make the most fantastic Fall Shabby Burlap Wreath's. Mine turned out a little different but that's what crafting is all about, putting your talent and creativity into a project, and as I was grabbing the link for the tutorial above, I saw this "modern wreath" and OH MY I just love it!! That might be next on the creative crafty gotta do ~ to-do list!! Anyway, plan for about an hour (or longer if time permits) and hop on over to Tatertots and Jello. You will be inspired to make and create all kinds of things!! I have crafted more in the past 30 days then in a couple years!! Thank you Jen

Buzzing into 40 - A Sweet Adventure

Party planning at it finest, if I do say so...

I hosted and planned my friend Katharine's 40th birthday party. I chose a yellow, black and white theme and then came up with "Buzzing into 40." She was very surprised considering her birthday had already passed.

I ordered candy on line from the Bulk Candy Store. I ordered lemon candy sticks, black and white Whirly Pops, yellow gumballs (10 lbs.), black licorice wheels, and lemon yellow Zots.

The cake was custom made and just beautiful, and the cupcakes, they were equally as pretty, those came from Gabriel's in Marietta, GA.
