I'm excited to post about my new dining room. It's still a work in progress but 90% completed. I just hung the chevron curtains on Sunday and was then able to take pictures for my post here. Be sure to scroll down to the "before" you won't believe your eyes!
This view is from my entryway hall
The table is the same as the before photos below. It's from Pottery Barn and the chairs before are a tan canvas and here I have the denim slipcovers on the them. A much more casual look. There is one chair missing on the left, it's across the hall at the desk - LOL!

BEFORE!
Can you believe it's the same room? Leopard wallpaper with a monkey border - What was I thinking - it was 8 years ago and it was "in" so to speak. You can see the tray ceiling below. The upper most part was painted a darker shade of taupe/peanut butter. The new room is all one color Valspar Gravity!
Dresser re-do!
Here are the dressers before and after.
I used spray paint, I believe it's called Lagoon by Valspar. It was so easy to spray them, it took 4 cans to cover both. The dressers also have beautiful marble tops.
Funky Ikea pendant light
Chevron Curtains!
LOVE
I'm not showing the left of the room because it's a blank wall it's the other 10% not completed. I'm also playing around with the paintings on the walls and perhaps adding a nice Hinkley lighting fixture. I think I might even paint something abstract myself to hang.
More to come!!

Chrissy girl, AMAZING!!! I love the dresser redo, omg the color is perfect! And I would never believe it is the same room!
LOVE IT!!! I want to move in! This is the exact look I'm going for in my house, but haven't accomplished yet, b/c we went and painted our living room this goldish-mud color when we moved in and it's much too big of a task to repaint! I'll just have to come back every so often and covet yours! I'm going to be featuring this on my spotlight post tonight b/c it's just so darn perfect!
Thank you so much Jacky!!
Thank you so much for visiting. The shelves are from Ikea and they just float on the wall with a bracket that you attach to the wall and then slide the shelf on. Honestly, I'm afraid to put to much weight on them for fear they will fall. My mom had the same shelves in her house and has books and all sorts of things on them and no issues.
They come in black, grey, and the white. $16 each I think.
Happy Decorating
Thank you so much - it's a complete change from the before which I loved 9 years ago when put together but now oh my. I love the new look - now I'm on to my kitchen - a new look for the kitchen is next!!

I'm looking at getting some curtains from the same lady you used on Etsy. I saw your comment that led me here. Was wondering how you hung them. It doesn't look like the clip kind. Thanks for your feedback and i LOVE your blog.
Thanks
Lindsey
Great job with this. The transformation looks amazing and it has certainly provided ideas for the redesign of my home. Thanks.
