Have you heard about the new CoronaRita at Chili's.  It's made with Jose Cuervo Especial Tequila and Coronita. It’s Chili’s new CoronaRita Margarita available now!  Chili's has several Margaritas to choose from, my favorite is the Mango Margarita, it's great frozen, tastes like a mango slushie.  They even put sugar around the rim of the glass for an extra treat.

We often head to Chili's for a quick bite to eat, the food is good and the staff is always friendly.  With summer fast approaching and Cinco de Mayo just around the corner why not celebrate at Chili's with family and friends, maybe a girls night out?

My favorite dinner to order off the menu at Chili's are the Chicken Club Tacos!  Yummers and the black beans on the side are so good too! My husband likes the Cobb Salad. I bet either of these would be great with the new CoronaRita.  We actually went to Chili's last night and we ordered the $35 two dinner meal which was two Margaritas one appetizer and two entree's and one shared dessert.  A great deal.  My husband had the regular Margarita with dinner and while we did not order the new CoronaRita at Chili's drink, they were promoting it as this weeks drink!  Our server said they were great and you just lift the bottle from the gadget it rests in to let more of the Corona into the glass, so clever!

Everyone loves to go to Chili’s now there’s even more reason to celebrate - it’s nearly Cinco de Mayo and after that - summertime!!!  Head on over to Chili's to see the great menu items and fun drinks they have to offer this summer.

Giveaway: Miracle-Gro® Expand ‘n Gro™

Congratulations Angie from The Country Chic Cottage   you won the sample.  It took ages to get here from the sponsor host but it's ready to be sent!!

I love to grow a garden! My little potted herb garden is probably my fave!
Thanks for the great giveaway!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I'm so excited to have the opportunity to post about this planting mix.  I love to plant flowers in the spring and summer but I'm in Atlanta and it's so hot here that watering is a huge challenge in keeping the flowers moist.  I think I can combat my watering, sometimes twice a day, with Expand ‘n Gro™.  It's also plant food feeding for up to six months during the flower season! And a little bag expands three times it's size so less is more.  Fill you rpot 1/3 full and water and the soil expands to the top!!
EnG Product Shot.png
Expand ‘n Gro Concentrated Planting Mix is different from basic potting and garden soils. Because it’s a unique blend of Miracle‐Gro plant food and coconut coir fiber, a compact, lightweight, easy‐to‐carry and easy‐to‐store bag of Expand ‘n Gro can do everything a big, heavy bag of soil can do, only better. This concentrated planting mix expands up to 3 times when mixed with water, feeds plants for up to 6 months, makes native soil more workable and retains up to 50% more moisture than basic potting soil.

In pots or in‐ground, the absorbent coir fibers help ensure that water is used efficiently. Expand ‘n Gro retains up to 50% more moisture than basic potting soils and then releases water as plants need it, to help prevent over or under watering. Since moisture and nutrients must be able to reach plant roots, proper air space and circulation in soil is critical for plant health. Tilling this planting mix into native soil can reduce the soil’s bulk density – making it up to 40% lighter, and creating up to 90% more air space. The result is more workable native soil with better water holding ability, moisture distribution, and drainage, all of which ultimately creates an improved rooting environment for plants.
Woo Hoo I'm so excited to use Expand ‘n Gro™ this season.  Do you want to try it too?  Leave a comment below about your favorite gardening project!
Also, if you visit Expand ‘n Gro™ 's site there is a $3.00 coupon just for you!
I will select a winner to recieve their very own sample of Expand ‘n Gro™ for your garden.

Giveaway will end April 22 and I will announce the winner here on Monday, April 23rd. Be sure your email is attached to your profile or leave your email in the comment area so I can get in touch with you!

Learning art on line - amazing classes

I have taken several on line art classes over the past few months and I have loved each and every one of them.  There are four artists whos work I have admired and have now learned from by taking their classes!

Now, before you say, "I could never take an on line class" you must try one of these and see for yourself all the amazing things you can learn "on line" through video tutorials.  I promise - AMAZING.

This class is taught by Junelle Jacobsen.  She is a very talented mixed media artist and lover of Lambs.  Visit Junelle on her blog Yes and Amen.  The class The Art of Wild Abandonment is taught by Junelle and hosted by Christy Tomlinson.

Christy is also absolutely amazingly talented and has some really great classes taught through videos.  Below are links to Christy's classes or you can go here.

Classes already in session that you can join in and have instant access to!!
The GIlded Valentines Class with the Gilded Girls and ME!
the 12 Ornaments of Christmas! (a five day mini workshop)
The She Art Workshop No.2 !!! ( a three week e-course)
The She Art Workshop (a three week e-course)
She Had Three Hearts- an art journaling e-course.
Creative Color: Art Redefined (a one week mini workshop)

Christy also has a brand new what looks to be an amazing 6 week class called

"We all have a story to tell... one that we live and paint and breath everyday... through our heartaches and trials, joys and celebrations, insecurities and moments of clarity. What story are we telling now and what story do we have yet to create? At the end of the day, it's our living canvas that will tell our story. In this six week course we will help you discover that through art,  messy play, techniques, journaling and soul searching exercises... you will be able to create your canvas by design not by default." ~Christy

Alisa Burke is also an amazing artist with really fun classes.
You can follow her blog here

Here are the classes I have taken
The great thing about Alisa's classes is you have unlimited access to the classes so you are able to work at your own pace.

Alisa's newest class starting on Monday is called The Art of Abstraction

"..........The Art of Abstraction will introduce you to the concept of making abstract and expressive art. I will share a variety of methods, techniques and prompts that will inspire you to find your voice and your unique style. I will challenge you to a new way of seeing and teach you fresh ways to make art with all kinds of alternative tools and methods............" ~Alisa

Full class details and registration information here.

Juliette Crane is also so talented

So there ya have it, great classes that you should really take a look at to broaden your horizons and play with color, paints, canvas', and the amazing world of mixed media!

Have an artful day!

COOL WHIP Strawberry Shortcake Treats

Thank you COOL WHIP for sponsoring this post. Join us on Facebook for inspiration and recipes for everyday treats. What you add makes it. #coolwhipmoms

Ohh desserts, everyone loves desserts right?  And what better than COOL WHIP Whipped Topping to top off your sweet treat.  I'm visiting family in VA for spring break and we decided to buy the big tub of COOL WHIP to make Strawberry Shortcake desserts.  I cut the strawberries into slices and sprinkled sugar on top and let them sit for about 15 minutes.  I then cut thin slices of the pound cake and then cubed the slices to place in the glasses.  Then I layered, pound cake, COOL WHIP, strawberries and COOL WHIP again!  Everyone loved it!

Here is what we bought
1 large tub of COOL WHIP
1 SaraLee all butter pound cake
2 pints of strawberries

Here it is all layered in the glass.

Here are a few of my favorite COOL WHIP dessert treats from some of my favorite bloggers. Jocelyn with Inside BruCrew Life is amazing and creates the most delicious treats.  I have made these cheesecakes four times and each time that are equally delicious.  The topping has COOL WHIP in it and to top it off mini chocolate chips! Complete recipe here.

Heather who blogs at WhipperBerry not only comes up with amazing sweets but she stylizes her photos in the most fun way. The creamy topping on this black cherry poke cake is made with COOL WHIP whipped topping.  Complete recipe here.

This yummy recipe is from the Kraft Foods website.  What is so great about this recipe is it's made in a oven proof bowl giving it a dome shape.

1 pkg. (2-layer size) devil's food cake mix
5 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
1 tub (8 oz.) plus 1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided
1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Complete recipe here
Do you have any fun recipes using COOL WHIP?  Share below or share a link to your blog so we can take a peek.  You can never have too many recipes in your recipe box.
