It's been in the making and now finally finished
The new and improved laundry room. Now, I must say, the room is so tiny and when I open the door it actually just misses the washer so it's not deep and it's about 94 inches wide. Just enough for a little space on either side of the washer and dryer.
I had some wood cut at Lowe's and I stained it to sit across the washer and dryer as a solid surface. There are those yucky white shelves behind the yellow chevron curtain. I didn't want to take them down so I covered them up.
One of the reasons I wanted to have a cute room was because as you look up my stairs this room is at the top, and as you walk up the stairs you look right in the laundry room. So, a cute washer and dryer were a must and a much needed cute room too.

Here is the before, yuck right? It was in the partial stages of getting ready to paint
Here is an instrgram photo of my pinning and sewing the curtain.
So bright and cheerful

I love home made laundry detergent - here is the recipe. It's in the clothes pin jar!! The small jar to the left has lost in the laundry items, and things that have taken a "spin."
The printables I purchased and some were free.
This is a fun pendant I bought at Lowe's to hang rather then the builders light!
The orange crates were purchased at Michael's with 40% off coupons and spray pained, they hold cleaning supplies.
You can see the shelf here

I'm was excited to have my laundry room reveal on Shanty 2 Chic on May 1st!! I have followed Ashley and Whitney for a while now and I just love all
their projects. They are super clever and doable which is most
appealing!! When Whitney and Ashley emailed and asked if I'd like to
guest post I was wondering what in the world will I post, then it hit
me, my new laundry room. I have been in the laundry room "redo" stages
and this was the motivator I needed.
